Better Moments Support (BMS)

Better Moments Support was created by an allied health professional and qualified Rehabilitation Counsellor dedicated to empowering the disability community and supporting NDIS participants to thrive. 

BMS provides empathy-driven, evidenced-based Therapeutic Supports, Support Coordination, and Psychosocial Recovery Coaching for self-managed and plan managed NDIS participants. With advanced clinical training, specialised industry knowledge, and awareness, BMS understands that navigating complex psychosocial and physical challenges requires a highly individualised approach.

At BMS, we believe that the right support fosters resilience, instils hope, and drives systematic change. We hold a safe space, therapeutic space to deliver tailored interventions aligned with your unique NDIS goals.

We walk alongside you on your journey, prioritising choices, values, and autonomy. By combining professional guidance with realistic, evidence-informed resources, BMS promotes sustainable outcomes, community inclusion, and functional independence every step of the way.

Amanda MASRC, BCOUNS | ASORC

 

Who are you?

Amanda, founder of Better Moments Support and a registered Rehabilitation Counsellor and allied health professional providing specialist support to NDIS participants. Her multi-skilled practice encompasses Support Coordination, Psychosocial Recovery Coaching, and Therapy Supports (targeted rehabilitation counselling), with extensive expertise in mental health, disability, engagement, and vocational support. Amanda is a proactive researcher and continuous learner dedicated to curating up-to-date resources. She empowers participants to make informed decisions that align with their personal values, interests, and goals. Operating within a biopsychosocial framework, Amanda utilises a person-centered and strengths-based approach defined by deep empathy, compassion, and collaborative guidance in every participant interaction. Complementing her clinical work, her primary area of research interest focuses on neurodivergent functioning and employment sustainability. 

What do you do in your spare time?

Amanda enjoys spending time with her family and having downtime through learning languages, going on long walks, and listening to relaxing music.

 

Amber DIPHEALTHSCI

 

Who are you?

Amber, is a BMS admin support team member who volunteers her time providing administrative support whilst she is undertaking studies in the field of disability studies. Amber has a diploma of health science and is fascinated about neurodivergent functioning, nutrition and exercise, and the link between better health wellbeing and neurodivergent functioning.

What do you do in your spare time?

Amber enjoys spending time with her family and having downtime at the beach and reading a good book.

What makes BMS unique is that you will always have the same person providing support to you. BMis a small operational business that ensures support is structured, efficient, continuous, congruent, familiar, and sustainable.
